Sphärismus

Carlo Dahlmueller was born in Saarbrücken. He studied at the Universities of Genf,

Basel and Boston. In 1970 he started his own experiments in abstract painting.

Although his role models were Wassily Kandinsky, Jackson Pollock and Sam Francis,

his objective always was to develope his own, characteristic style. Officially and in

literature his style is recognized as SPHERISME. In addition to one man shows at

renowned galleries he partizipated at international art shows such as:

1986: Salon International d´art Contemporain, Palais de

Baulieu, Lausanne, Ch.

1987 and 1988: Internationale Kunstmesse, art 18 and art 19

Basel, Ch.

1994 Art New York International, N.Y. USA.

Verschiedene Leitartikel wie z.B. Kunst Aktuell, 5/98: Sphärismus.

Offener Kunstpreis im Internet und Band 4, "Meister der bildenden Künste",

2001 von Prof. A.A. Ziese, FIBK.

SPHERISME: everything is moving all the time down to the smallest particles

and neutrinos but, in its movement , giving the paradoxical impression of stillness.

Small local chaos giving way to the premonition of greater order overall.
